Touch-Tone Banking was first invented 1963. The first Touch-Tone phone had 10 numeric buttons. After it was invented the banks soon began offering the consumers the ability to check account balances, review account activity, pay bills, and transfer money between accounts. Many of the people that used it slowly moved to internet banking.
